Home-Start Charnwood is a local family support charity with 30 years experience of working with families within Charnwood. We are looking to expand our group of Family Support Volunteers and are seeking parents who wish to use their skills and experiences to help a family with young children.
Being a parent can be fantastic, but it is also exhausting. When life throws in a couple of extra problems it can be difficult to cope. The families supported by Home-Start Volunteers are in need of someone to reach out a helping hand, offer friendly advice or practical help.
So, if you are a parent, if you can spare a few hours a week, if you would like to develop your skills and if you like to meet new people, why not talk to Home-Start about becoming a Family Support Volunteer?
