Council welcomes fund.

Charnwood Borough Council welcomes Loughborough University’s exciting new initiative, Loughborough University’s Community Donations Fund.
Councillor Mike Preston, Leader of Charnwood Borough Council, said: “This is a truly generous gesture from Loughborough University to community groups and organizations in the area.  In the academic year starting from October 2009, a total of £25,000 will be available in the fund. It is a wonderful way of developing a strong and solid relationship with the University and the community and I very much welcome it.”
