A New Coach for Ratcliffe’s 1st XV Rugby Team

Ratcliffe College has called on the experiences of an ex-pupil to help them develop their skills and technique on the rugby field. Louis Deacon, who currently plays for Leicester Tigers and England, has been coaching Ratcliffe’s 1st XV Rugby team during their training sessions on a Wednesday afternoon.
Louis, who has not lost contact with the School since he left in 1999, wanted to give something back to Ratcliffe by offering his expertise to those students with a commitment and focus on the game. As a role model to many of Ratcliffe’s young players, they were delighted at the opportunity to train with an international player!
Louis is already impressed with the boys’ attitude and effort levels and hopes his contribution will drive them to many future successes.
