Once again the Armistice and Poppy Appeal will be with us. Parade starts at the Brookside car park at approximately 10.50am on the 8th November, proceeding first to the War Memorial in Central Park, where the laying of wreaths and a short service will take place.
The parade will then proceed to St Peter and St Pauls Church for a service and the carrying of all Standards to be blessed by the vicar. After the service, the parade will march back to the new Legion for dismissal.
Coffee, tea and biscuits will be served and everyone is welcome.
