Ratcliffe College’s Catering Department Celebrates Success

They’ve done it again! Ratcliffe College’s Catering Department has successfully achieved the 3-star award by Charnwood Borough Council’s ‘Scores on the Doors’ for the second year running. Ratcliffe’s premises was fully inspected and their risk assessments examined, as part of the nationally recognised scheme that is designed to give the public an insight into the food safety and hygiene standards of all premises in the local area. Ratcliffe’s Catering Manager, Mr Graham Studd, said ‘I am very proud of my staff for their effort and hard work in maintaining the high standard of health and hygiene within the department.’ The catering staff were also pleased to be informed by one of the inspecting officers that it is something of a rare achievement for a school of Ratcliffe’s size, producing the number of meals that it does, to attain such a high score.
