Letter – Lucky to live in a place called Syston

I have lived here in Syston for over 30 years and always try to support my local venues etc. What a joy it is to relax in nearby Daisies tea shop in Brooklea Nurseries up from the Red Lion at Rothley, on the old Loughborough Road, on a lovely crisp and sunny Sunday morning. You will be greeted with a friendly smile and may I say home cooked cakes to die for and scones as big as your hand.
We are so lucky to live in a place called Syston with so much going on, who wants to live anywhere else I say.
