1st Thrussington Brownies, cleaning at Rearsby Church.
Girlguiding is the largest all girl youth group in Britain with over 500,000 members.
They are celebrating their 100th birthday this year and would like to invite you to join them either as a Rainbow aged five to six years, Brownie aged seven to ten years or Guide aged 10 to 14 years or as a helper.
They meet every Tuesday evening in term time.
The picture right shows the First Thrussington Brownies enjoying cleaning Rearsby Church, just one of the activities they do twice a year and helps them achieve their Home Skills Badge. Other activities include visiting Melton Museum to enjoy a quiz, play games and making something. They are also learning about hazards in the home in order to achieve their Home Safety Badge.
Each group offers fun, friendship, games and activities appropriate to the age of the girl. No experience is required for helpers as full training is offered.
