Staff and students at Ratcliffe College are celebrating, following a highly successful visit from the Independent Schools’ Inspectorate which took place at the beginning of the Spring Term. Ratcliffe was the first school in the United Kingdom to be inspected under the new inspection framework that promotes improvement for schools and children. The Governors and staff are rightly extremely proud of the comments which have been made within the report. The report, released this week, emphasises not only the excellence of the overall learning environment at Ratcliffe but also the outstanding pastoral care within a ‘nurturing community’ which makes Ratcliffe so special.
Headmaster, Mr Gareth Lloyd, said how thrilled he was: “This report endorses all that we believe Ratcliffe College accomplishes: excellent academic attainment as a result of fine teaching, complemented by attention to the individual needs of every child through a programme of activities and pastoral care of exceptional quality.” Congratulations to staff and students!
