Syston Band is looking for new players. Do you play a brass instrument or percussion? Did you used to play and would like to give it another go? Would you like to learn to play a brass instrument?Syston Band is a friendly 4th section band. We play at a range of concerts throughout the year and are looking for new players to fill various vacancies in the main band.
We also have a Training Band with players of a wide range of ages and abilities and new members are always welcome.
Instruments are available on loan and tuition can be arranged if you would like to start to learn a brass instrument.
As well as brass instruments the bands are also looking for percussionists, we have full kit available.
We meet upstairs at the Syston Working Mens Club, Brookside, Syston on Monday evenings.
Training Band is 7.00pm to 8.00pm and Main Band from 8.00pm to 10.00pm.
The Main Band also meets on a Thursday evening from 8.00pm to 10.00pm
