Spring Cleaning – Give to Charity

Spring is the time of year for daffodils, baby lambs, the first signs of warmer weather and the big “Spring Clean” clear out! When doing your Spring de-clutter don’t forget there are lots of ways your unwanted items can be reused…Mending your itemsFound your old bike at the back of the garage with a puncture, or how about that broken lawn mower you’ve been meaning to get rid of. Don’t throw them away; many items can be repaired, often costing less than buying a replacement.  Selling your itemsAll that clutter can be a great way to make some extra cash – remember one person’s rubbish is another person’s treasure!Try selling your items online or through your local newspaper.
Some shops will buy used or pre-owned items such as DVD’s, video games and games consoles to sell onto someone else to use.
