Performed by The QT Theatre group between 20th and 23rd May at the Old Chapel Theatre. A small cast of five performed a wonderful interpretation of Alan Ayckbourn’s play which contained humerous observations of human relationships with a moral! Set in the flat of two young women, Chloe and Sasha it follows their lives after Chloe helps an elderly man almost knocked down outside their flat.
The audience were enthralled with the plot and enjoyed the humour, occasionally dark, but overall very uplifting. Worked in an open set this was a very professional adaptation, holding the concentration of the audience throughout. Travelling from Anstey, some members of the audience commented that it was their first visit, but not their last, as they thoroughly enjoyed the production. The feeling of the audience was that they were leaving happy having enjoyed a good production and better than anything on TV.
