0n Tuesday 1st June 2010 Beedles Lake Golf Club 2009 Captains, Patrick Lee, Club Captain, Kim Griffin, Ladies Captain and Vinay Mistry, Junior Captain handed over a cheque for £2,665 to LOROS Representative, Mrs Diane Morris. In his introduction Patrick thanked all the members of the club, those who took part in the golf marathon last year and all the sponsors of the Captains Day for their contribution to an excellent cheque for a deserving charity.
Diane, in accepting the cheque, thanked the Beedles Lake Golf Club members for all their achievement and said that it would be put to good use in helping many people.
Beedles Lake Golf Club has a long association with Loros and she hoped that this would continue.
On Saturday 6th June the Millington Cup Competition was held. The course conditions were good despite the long dry spell.
The overall winner was Arthur Grant, Second place Richard Jones and Dennis Carnell claimed third spot.
