James Cornish from Qualvis Packaging, Thurmaston, along with a group of friends and colleagues completed the Coast to Coast, Sustrans C2C cycle route which is approximately 145 miles starting at Whitehaven on the West coast and finishing at Sunderland on the East coast. They left Whitehaven at 11.00am on Friday 11th June and arrived at Sunderland on Sunday 13th June at 1.30pm. Tired but very happy to have completed the journey, they have raised approximately £2,000 for two charities, Parkinson’s UK and Cancer Research from donations made by donations from family, friends, work mates, business customers and suppliers. There were nine riders and two support vehicles in case of repairs to the bicycles and James, along with the other riders would like this opportunity to thank everyone for the donations and support they have received in raising this excellent amount. If you would like to donate then please go to www.virginmoneygiving.com/qualvisc2c
