SMCs Got Talent

smcs-got-talent6 On Saturday 19th June the Syston Methodist Church held their first SMCs Got Talent, an idea that began with the Camera group. They invited members and friends of the church to show their talents in a range of crafts, including photography, embroidery, works of art, dressmaking, sugar craft and cakes which were consumed by visitors to the exhibition.
In total there were 50 contributors and the displays filled the Church as well as the Church hall. What a lot of hidden talents there are in Syston, as you can see from the pictures.
People enjoyed wandering around the exhibition, after which they had a cup of tea or coffee and a piece of homemade cake.
The total raised for the church funds was £360.31 and the organisers would like to thank everyone for their support.
