Staff at Syston Library invite you to join them on Saturday 8th February for a special Coffee Morning 10.00am to 1.00pm to celebrate National Libraries Day.

New members will be encouraged to join the library and find out about the wide range of services and activities on offer. Existing members will be encouraged to visit, borrow a book and get involved.

Why not try a taster activity in the week leading up to National Libraries Day?

Drop in to the Knit, Natter and Craft session on Tuesday 4th Februarybetween 5.00pm and 7.00pm.

Whether you are a complete beginner or want to improve your skills – this group is for everyone.

Families are welcome.

Find out how to use the internet to help with your family history research at a special taster session on Friday 7th February 10.00am to 11.30am. Discover family history websites such as Find My Past and Ancestry, which are free to use in libraries. £3 booking essential.

Later in the month families are invited to a Roald Dahl half-term event. Stories and craft activities celebrating Roald Dahl’s ever popular books will be taking place on Thursday 20th February 10.00am to 11.30am.

For children aged four to 11 years accompanied by their parents/carers. £1 per child pre-booking required.
