D-Day Remembered at Make and Play

The little ones of Make and Play remembered D-Day on the 6th June 2014. The children made special feathery ‘doves of peace’ pictures, and some danced along to lots of wartime favourites such as ‘Run Rabbit Run’ and ‘It’s a long way to Tipperary’. A table of memorabilia was laid out for grown-ups, including ration books, a gas mask and newspapers of wartime events. Meanwhile, children enjoyed some red, white and blue iced cakes as they welcomed lots of new friends to the group.

Make and Play meets on Mondays and Fridays (term time only) from 10.00am till 11.30pm. First session is free, with refreshments included. If you care for a child 0-4 years, and would like to learn more about our group, please go to our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/ groups/makeandplay and clicking on ‘join group’.
