Wreake Valley Students Celebrate

Another Fantastic Set of Results
Wreake Valley students are celebrating another year of excellent Advanced Level results. The number of students achieving the top grades increased slightly this year, and overall there was a 100% pass rate. Results in Sociology, Physics, Media, Economics and History were particularly high.
A large number of students achieved three or more passes at the highest grades, including Jessie Stewart, Sophie Hall, Jaimin Tailor, Adam Ward, Jenny Scawin, Mishali Paragjee and Megan Stretton. Of particular note is Jessie Stuart who achieved three A* grades and one A grade. She will be studying Maths at Leeds University. Sophie Hall, who achieved three grade A’s, is going to train at the British Horse Racing school at Newmarket. Jaimin Tailor who achieved three A’s, will be going to study Economics at the University of Nottingham.
Head of Sixth Form, Su Peters said “These are a well-deserved set of results reflecting the hard work of students. We are delighted with the high number of students going on to study at the University of their choice.”
A Level results
A total of 101 Students entered for GCE Advanced level exams with 100% of Exam Entries passing with grades A* – E. 74% of those entered gained A* – C, 11% gained A* and A grades and 41% gaining A* and B grades.

Jaimin Tailor

Jaimin Tailor – from Syston, achieved 3 grade As, will be going on to study Economics at Nottingham University.
He said: “I would recommend Wreake Valley to anyone, I have loved my time here, there are some great teachers and they get a balance between giving you the knowledge you need for your subjects and the personal skills that develop you as an individual.”



Jessie Stuart – From Syston – achieved 3 A* grades and 1 A grade, will be studying Maths at the University of Leeds.
