The Home Front in World War One (WW1) talk
Syston library has organised a very interesting talk on WW1 by renowned expert, Nick Marshall on Tuesday 4th November from 7.00 – 8.30pm. Tickets are £3 including refreshments and are available in advance from Syston library Tel: 0116 3053500.
Nationally, the Great War brought massive changes in society as women took up new jobs and the whole country was mobilised.
