Jeanette Masters Retires

In October, pupils, staff and governors of St Peter & St Paul’s Academy said goodbye to Jeanette Masters who had worked as a member of the school administration team for over 26 years. Jeanette has been a key member of the school’s staff and was instrumental, in her role of School Business Manager, in the successful conversion to becoming an Academy in 2013.
The whole school gathered together on Jeanette’s last day at St Peter & St Paul’s church for a special service to mark her outstanding service to the school and the community of Syston.
After the service, staff held a special tea party with Jeanette as guest of honour where she was joined by friends from her many years at the school and presented with retirement gifts from staff and governors.
Chair of Governors, Andrew Stanford said “The school were pleased to mark the incredible contribution Jeanette has made to our school. She is well known by parents and pupils past and present and we wish her a long and happy retirement with her husband Mike”.
