Bag a bargain
Syston Library book sale offers you a chance to grab a fantastic selection of withdrawn books at giveaway prices. Hundreds of books will be available from as little as 50p including adults and children’s fiction, non-fiction, talking books, videos, DVD, paperbacks and hardbacks.
Book-sale – starting on Saturday 14th February at 10.00am.
Come along and pick up a bargain and take a look at what else the library service has on offer.
Good night – Bedtime Stories
After a super success with Christmas bedtime stories, Syston library have organised another bed on Tuesday 17th February from 5.45 -6.45pm.
Children aged four to eight year olds with their parents and carers can all join in the fun.
There will be stories, activities, milk and cookies all for just £2 per child.
Visit in person or call Syston library today to book your tickets early.
Wriggly Singers Volunteer
Syston library is looking for couple of parents/carers, ex-teacher or anyone with an experience of working with toddler groups to volunteer to run a parent and toddler session once a fortnight starting from Thursday 19th February. The sessions are held once a fortnight on Thursdays 10 to 10.30am. It involves singing nursery rhymes accompanied by musical instruments and occasionally reading baby stories. If you love singing and telling stories then please get in touch for an informal chat.
Knit, Natter and Craft
NEW TIME!Knit, Natter and Craft at Syston
Library will now run between10.00am to 12noon on the first Tuesday of every month from Tuesday 3rd FebruaryCome along for the whole session or just drop in its FREE*
*Tea and coffee will be available for a small charge. Under 12s must be accompanied by an adult.
