9th Thrussington Fun Run 2015

John Tailby 1Saturday 7th March was a beautiful, warm spring day which greeted the 510 entrants and their supporters, for the 9th Thrussington fun run. The event is split into five consecutive races according to age, starting with pre-school to school year 2 at 2.00pm and finishing with the adults race at 3.20pm. Youngsters tackled one lap of the extremely undulating cross country course negotiating the steep inclines, numerous stream crossings and hay bale jumps, whilst teenagers and adults endured two laps. On completion all runners received a medal and post-race treats, all generously supplied by Mars along with the winner’s trophies.
