Just Gents ‘Hair Raising’ Charity Event with Mind Matters

Just gents men’s hairdressers have decided to work in partnership with Mind Matters charity in a one day extravaganza and donate its entire takings on Saturday 4th July towards this much needed charity!!!
Father and son Tony and Joe Clayton have provided the complete Barbers experience to its customers for over five years in Syston.
Being that Tony’s customers are men these statistics are shocking:
? British men are three times more likely to die by suicide than British women.
? Suicide remains the most common cause of death in men under the age of 35.
We need to raise awareness of this and other mental health problems men face. Traditionally men are reluctant to seek help and have higher levels of isolation.
Often men are traditionally seen as the stronger sex and this can make it difficult for them to open up and talk about depression.
Money raised by mind shops helps us support the 1 in 4 people (male and female) in the UK who will experience mental distress.
After a conversation with assistant manager of Mind, Natalie Collier, the idea of a charity day unfolded. “Thanks to the generosity of Tony and the team at Just Gents, vital funds will be raised for this much needed cause.”
Tony and the team will work their entire Saturday 4th July raising funds and instead of customers paying their usual reasonable prices, they will instead be asked to place a donation in one of the mind charity tins 100% takings will go direct to the charity.
Tony and Joe would like to welcome all of its regular customers to pop in and support this event but also welcome new customers through its doors.
So why not come in have a great haircut and something for charity.
Also Mr R. Sacher from The Body Store in Syston has Kindly offered to donate 10% of his store takings that day.
