Tae Kwon-do Instructor, Master James Freer – 6th Dan, has just had tremendous success at his clubs with seven of his students passing their Black Belt grades and two more students passing their 2nd Dan Grades!!!
Mr Freer, who runs Tae Kwon-do clubs in Leicester, Loughborough and Syston, has been preparing his students for their important grades for the past six months.
The hard work, commitment and effort from all the students finally paid off as they travelled to Bristol to take their all-important grades.
All the students passed successfully!!!
Mr Freer claims: “All my students have to know that they’ve earned their Black Belts, this grade does not come easy, if the students don’t put the hard work in on classes then they cannot expect to perform well on their gradings. I teach to a high standard always, where students learn to perform at a high and consistent level. Students have to be able to perform well under pressure when grading, especially at Black Belt level”.
Successful students were –
Bharti Mistry, Henneh Mistry, Jai Rana, Mitchell Booth, Robert Wright and Tammy and Jo Burzio (husband and wife) who now join their daughter Olivia, who has been a Black Belt for over a year!
Tammy and Jo also have another daughter, Mia, who is nine years old and should be taking her Black Belt next year in April!
They say “It’s fantastic to be able to do something together as a family, we recommend this to all families, it’s a great activity and achievement.
It’s great to be learning something that teaches you how to achieve your goals and be confident in what you do”.
Also, passing their 2nd Dan grades were; – Dean Thurman-Kingham and
Sian Davison.
Finally, three junior Black Belts passed their 2nd Star Grades. They were: Jasmine Freer, Hannah Davison and Kirunjot Riyat.
