Community groups and charities in Charnwood could receive up to £20,000 in grant funding from Charnwood Borough Council.
The grants can help with community projects, running costs for up to one year or one-off equipment costs or costs towards renovating or providing a new community building.
Councillor Jonathan Morgan, the Council’s Cabinet Member for Community Cohesion, said: “Local groups and charities do a lot to help people in our community, which is why we want to support them with our grants scheme. I would encourage people to apply, but also help us by providing as much information as possible in your application. Sometimes groups miss out because they’ve not included enough detail, so take your time. We have a new application form for this round of grants, so if you need help, we can offer support and advice – just get in touch.”
