Academy Summer Fete
On Saturday 1st July the school playing field was full of people enjoying the range of activities that had been set up by the school staff and parents association to raise funds for the school.
This was the first time the school had held a summer fete for many years and with the weather being so beautiful, the families turned out and enjoyed the afternoon in good numbers.
The Dance academy and cheerleaders performed from preschool age up to teens, with lots of appreciation from the audience. There was a prize every time tombola, luck bag stall, guess the teacher, treasure map, ring toss and other interesting stalls.
The total raised for the school was £2,145.80.
A huge thank you goes out to all the teachers, staff and parents who helped organise and run the stalls along withsome of the older children on the day.
