Wreake Valley Rotary Club Acknowledges an Exceptional Contribution in the Community

Wreake Valley Rotary Club recently recognised the exceptional contribution to the Community by Tricia Marsland by presenting her with the Alan Morley Award. The picture, courtesy of the club, shows L-R: Shirley Morley, Richard Bowler (President Wreake Valley Rotary Club) and Tricia.
This award is presented to an individual who has either achieved something significant or made exceptional contributions in their area.
Tricia was recommended for the award in recognition of having fostered 211 children prior to them being successfully placed for adoption with parents and families in the area.
In addition to this amazing achievement Tricia has also been presented with the ‘Unsung Hero’ award at St Hilda’s Church, where she is a very active parishioner, by Charnwood Council.
She has also appeared in television programs about adoption.
Wreake Valley Rotary Club meet at 7.30pm on a Wednesday at the Britannia Arms Pub in Queniborough and are always pleased to welcome potential new members.
