Church View Nursery Food And Local Produce Event

On Sunday 28th January, Church View Nursery held their first local food and produce event.
Bob, who runs Church View along with Kate, explained that they started Church View by travelling and participating in events like these, so realise the importance of how it can help people to grow their businesses/dreams.
Bob said: “We decided to run it on a Sunday as most people who work cannot get to events like this as they are mostly run on weekdays – That includes myself and Kate, so we thought, why not bring them to us!”
He continued to say “It’s nice to be able to offer something different and interesting to our customers.”
The Mash Tun cafe, the lovely old double-decker bus that is located within the Nursery share similar principles when it comes to local food and produce. The two young owners are from the area and source locally as often as they can, with all of their meat coming from Mr D in East Goscote.
After the fantastic success of this event, Church View have decided to repeat this on the last Sunday of every month, entry is free – A showcase for small local food producers!
Bob said: “Without events like the ones we run we would never have got Church View up and running.”
