Wreake Valley Sixth Form A Level Results

We are very pleased that once again Wreake Valley Sixth Form students have achieved excellent A Level grades. We anticipate that a high number of students will go on to study at their first choice of university.
The Head of Sixth Form, Belinda Nuttall, said ‘We are delighted with the students’ results this year. We have focused on futures and ambition with students this year and their results will secure them a place at the university, apprenticeship or career of their choice’
The Sixth Form is very pleased with the results in a number of subjects, but of particular note are Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry, Economics, Sociology, PE, Product Design, Business Studies and Health and Social Care. The Maths results were especially outstanding, with over 50% of students gaining an A or A* grade.
Special mention should be made of Dillon Patel who gained two A* and two A grades and will be taking up his place at the University of Nottingham to study Maths. Omkar Gadhave achieved one A* and three A grades and will be studying Computer Science at the University of Warwick. Rupinder Cheema achieved three A grades and is going to study Cardiac Physiology at the University of Leeds.
Other students who achieved highly are Alicia Loke with two A grades and a Distinction *, and Emilia Palmer who is going on to study Physics.
We wish all our students every success in their chosen courses, apprenticeships and employment.
