Syston Methodist Church Memorial Service

On the evening of Remembrance Sunday 11th November at 6pm the Methodist Church are holding their annual Memorial Service for anyone who would like to remember a loved one. Particularly this year you may want to remember someone who was killed in the first World War, or any war.
The service will be led by our new Minister the Rev Daniel Yovan, pictured left. There will be the  opportunity to light a candle, write a name on a stone to add to our memorial cairn or for you to take home with you. There will also be time for private thoughts and prayers or stillness after the service when refreshments will also be served.
This service will last about an hour and is open to anyone who wishes to remember a loved one at this time.
You do not need to be a regular church goer; someone who has never been to church in their life or be affiliated to another church. All are welcome.
