Update on our Local Gymnast Beatrice

Beatrice has been back in the gym working hard for the Autumn competition season. She also moved schools, starting at Roundhill Academy, who have continued to actively support her gymnastics.
In October she competed in two National invitationals in Durham and Nottingham, claiming gold on beam and floor in both competitions and also vault in Durham.
On the 3rd November, Bea travelled to Guildford for the British National Age Group Finals, her major competition for this season, where she competed against the best gymnasts in her age group from across Great Britain.
Bea showed great determination and finished the competition placing top 10 on each apparatus, bars, beam, floor and vault – notably coming second on beam. Bea finished 6th all around for In Age Elite Level 2 all around.
When her score from this National competition is combined with the May In Age Elite Compulsory National Finals, Bea finishes the year ranked 3rd in Great Britain overall – a phenomenal achievement!
Bea is photographed below during her routine and left proudly wearing her Bronze National medal!
Well Done Beatrice!
