Age Concern Syston Groups
Day Care Group 1 and Group 2
For less mobile people we have two Day Care Group’s each meeting two Friday’s per month. Our qualified Day Care Leaders’ arrange a stimulating and enjoyable programme of activities or book a range of outings throughout the year.
Our Merton Group is for people who are housebound and meet on the 2nd Monday of each month. Our leader organises a range of outings either for a pub lunch or a visit to many other interesting places.
Respite Care Group
Once a month we organise a service for those who are caring for an elderly person. We provide a volunteer for one afternoon a month to sit with the carer’s loved one whilst the carer is taken out with the group.
