GoLearn Community Event

On Saturday the 18th May GoLearn, Leicestershire Adult Learning Service, will be hosting a morning of FREE adult learning tasters at Syston Town Council Community Centre, School Street, Syston.
The event runs from 10.00am till 12.00noon and will feature FREE tasters from across the GoLearn programme including: drawing and painting, Italian (from 10.15am till 11.00am), mandala painting for mindfulness, 

Back to Basics cookery, food art, a wire jewellery workshop, ESOL speaking and listening (from 11.15am till 12.00noon) as well as a Family Learning Lego Challenge for parents and children.
Leicestershire Adult Learning Service are a county-wide provider of adult learning opportunities and offer subjects such as English and Maths, Employability and ICT, Languages, ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages), British Sign Language 

and Arts and Wellbeing. The service also has dedicated programmes for adults with learning difficulties and disabilities alongside Family Learning and Apprenticeships.
All the tasters available on the day are completely FREE and pre-booking is not required. Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be available.
The service’s Enrolments Team will be on hand during the day to answer any queries you may have about Summer 2019 courses and enrolments can be made on the day. For anyone looking for some education advice there will also be opportunities to book a FREE IAG (Information, Advice and Guidance) session with one of the service’s Learning and Work Advisors.
