Roundhill Flower and Garden Club

1. Golden Garden

After the success of our Golden Anniversary celebration in May, club’s next venture did not go to plan!
For our June meeting, we were intending to hold our annual Garden Visit, this time to a selection of gardens in Queniborough.
Unfortunately, owing to the extremely wet and windy weather mid-month, which wreaked havoc and left ground conditions unsuitable for safety reasons, this had to be cancelled and rescheduled for late July.
The owner of one garden we hope to visit also specialises in rescuing Hedgehogs, thereby adding a focus on wildlife, plus we are looking forward to the opportunity to purchase plants at a stall to be held in another of the gardens.
At the end of July, we have our regular monthly floral demonstration where visitors can attend at a cost of £5.
Roundhill Flower and Garden Club has also been invited to take part in the Syston Summer Fayre on Saturday 31st August, were we will be holding an hour-long flower arranging workshop hosted by one of our experienced members.
Why not give it a try!
