Riverside Kestrels U12’s – Season Review

2018-2019 has been another fantastic season for Riverside, which has not only seen the Kestrels, but the club as a whole, which continues to go from strength to strength.
The Kestrels have followed on from last season’s league and cup double with another double success winning the Division 6 title and adding the U12 County Cup, losing only one league game in the process. The team also reached the quarter finals of the U12 knock out cup, which is an achievement in itself, as it saw them challenge themselves against the best in the county, narrowly losing 4-3 to Anstey.
The team have played some fantastic Football throughout the season and every single player has played a pivotal role, but it is their “never say die attitude”, which has really impressed, never knowing when they are beaten, which is testament to the results they have achieved this season.
The team continue to go from strength to strength, which will be challenged again next year as they move up to Division 3. The team have provided some great entertainment this year that has left all concerned waiting for next season. A great team performance, but this couldn’t be achieved without the hard work and commitment of the management team in Chris, Pete and Dave. Here’s to another great season in 2019-2020.
