Birstall Golf Club Launches Wednesday Lunch Club For Senior Citizens

With Spring just around the corner Birstall Golf Club is introducing a fortnightly Wednesday Lunch Club aimed at local senior citizens and members of organisations such as U3A. Starting on Wednesday 18th March the Lunch Club will offer the following

• Home cooked main course and dessert specials board from only £6.50.

• Bar prices reduced by 10% during March.

• Comfortable Dining Room with lovely views over the golf course.

• Plentiful parking.

• Easy access for the less able.

• Warm welcome from our friendly staff.

Commenting on the new initiative Club Manager Jo Shepherd said “ Birstall and the surrounding area has a sizeable senior citizen community with relatively few venues where an enjoyable lunch and companionship can be experienced. The golf club offers easy access to this and is a great place to relax and enjoy good food. We are keen to ensure our reputation for friendliness in a lovely environment extends to the wider community at large. The club is at the core of the area’s sporting community and the Wednesday Club extends our facilities to local seniors at a highly competitive price.
