Leicester City Womens FC Player Visits Syston Girls Academy

Katie Lowder, Leicester City Womens F.C., first team player visited the girls academy on Saturday 28th May. Katie is from Syston and has progressed through grassroots football and is a great role model for future female football players.? Katie is LCWFC number 11 and plays in midfield, she played her part in Leicester City Women’s 3 – 2 win against Charlton Athletic at the Walkers Stadium on Sunday 22nd May. Katie agreed to do some coaching with the Academy girls, which will be a fantastic opportunity for the girls to experience. The girls Academy is FREE and takes place every Saturday, including closed season, from 10.00am to 11.30am at Syston Town Juniors F.C. Memorial Playing Fields, Necton Street, Syston, Leicester LE7 8HF All ages and abilities are welcome. Syston Town girls are currently recruiting for their U16’s team, current years 9 and 10, and U10’s, U12’s, U13’s. Syston Town Juniors F.C. are a Chartered Standard Club, all coaches are CRB checks and hold a minimum FA Level 1 qualification.
