The Syston Town News is a free community newspaper published at the beginning of every month (except January).

Established in 1996 the Syston Town News has gone from strength to strength and 5,600 copies are delivered to households, shops, clubs, swimming pools and libraries in the area. The towns and villages covered are Syston, Queniborough, East Goscote, Barkby and Barkby Thorpe, Ratcliffe on the Wreake, Rearsby and Frisby on the Wreake.

As well as providing the community with news of events in the area, the Syston Town News acts as a platform for local groups, clubs, organisations, schools and colleges to publicise their activities.

The Syston Business Directory offers useful information to local consumers about businesses in the area.
