Were All Mad Here Gift Shop and Syston Barbers owners, Sean and Bav, have set up a Community help shop on Barkby Rd, Syston. This is to help anybody in the community that is struggling due to self isolation caused by the Coronavirus. They also have a collection pot to raise funds to help people pay their gas and electric. As both Sean and Bav are self-employed they are aware of how difficult this situation is going to be for some people and wanted help them through this tough time. If you or anyone you know would like to help or contribute please get in touch via the newly set up Facebook page: wamhessentialsupplies or via Sean on 0753 841 6577. Sean and Bav are going to buy some items to start it off and any help would welcomed. Its not just food people need, as with all the panic buyers going mad and buying hand sanitizer and various other things, these would be welcome too. There will be a toy swap aspect to the shop too,as if people are confined to home for two weeks then having something different to play with can be a bonus. All toys will be sanitised before re-issuing to others, so if you have any toys that can be donated or swapped, please get in touch with Sean and Bav. If you, or anyone you know needs some help please get in contact via the facebook page: wamhessentialsupplies or via Sean on 0753 841 6577 . It would also be useful if anyone is available to volunteer to help in the community shop, and to be able to deliver items to those in isolation or who are unable to get out of home during this unprecedented time.
