Revive is celebrating it’s re-opening after lockdown… a PT gym and fitness studio based in Syston, Revive aims to evoke calm and ensure privacy, a place where clients can feel comfortable and at ease regardless of their personal circumstances. Revive offers to its clients a safe, private, well ventilated and fully equipped gym.
PT Sessions are available to book 1 to 1 or 1 to 2 – £30 per 45 minutes. My role as a PT is to help people to pursue, achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle, through education, encouragement and support. I deliver safe, effective, and varied workouts which are progressive and therefore geared towards clients achieving their goals. PT is also currently available online via ZOOM. In addition, as a qualified nutritional adviser I help my clients to manage weight loss by supporting them with education and simple lifestyle changes (this is also available online). My main focus as a PT, is to build strength which is crucial for maintaining a strong metabolism, as lean muscle mass plays a significant role in maintaining a healthy weight and general metabolic functions.

For Pilates all you require is a mat (Pilates and 50+ Pilates classes, £6 per 45 minutes) and for Barre, a high back chair or work surface for support and a pair of 1kg (2Ib) hand weights or small water bottles (£4 per 45 minutes).
Pilates Classes at Revive are mat based with some modern variations, classes are suitable for all and Provide the perfect exercise for those rehabilitating with medical or health concerns. I teach the type of Pilates that you can practice if you have been referred by a health professional such as a Doctor, a Physiotherapist, an Osteopath, or a Chiropractor. Pilates teaches you to hold your posture correctly, it helps to balance the torso and improves core stability by building abdominal, pelvic and back strength.
Practising such exercises on a regular basis will bring freedom of movement to your body and your lifestyle. Pilates is a safe form of exercise for all ages and ideal for people who haven’t exercised in a while.
Barre Workouts have taken the world by storm as a fantastic low impact class to strengthen and tone your body. The Barre Pilates Method, simplifies complex ballet techniques and combines them with basic Pilates principles to deliver a safe, effective, flowing workout for everyone, with no need of dance experience. Barre will increase your flexibility, burn calories, and improve stability through a stronger core. Essentially, Barre classes mix elements of Pilates, Ballet, and functional training choreographed to music. In each targeted workout, you will use the Barre and exercise equipment such as mini-balls and small hand weights to sculpt, slim and stretch your entire body.
