Starting the Season Early!
Looking for something to do during the Easter Holidays? The Baldwin Trust are excited to launch the new boating season on the 25th March 2024.
Our boats are centrally heated, so any spring chill will pose no problems. If you book a 4 hour cruise for up to 12 people between 25th March and 7th April 2024, you may even find a little treat from the Easter Bunny on board!
Trips depart from Leicester Marina in Thurmaston or Barrow Boating in Barrow upon Soar; you can explore the River Soar and Grand Union Canal north or south from each departure point. The trips are fully crewed by our trained volunteers, so all you need to do is sit back and relax – though there’s plenty of opportunities to steer the boat and navigate locks should you choose!
Our boats are fully wheelchair accessible, with kitchen equipment, fridge, microwave and hot water for making tea and coffee. There’s also a fully accessible toilet on board.
