The two casts have been rehearsing separately\, on Tuesdays and Thursdays and are yet to see each other ‘in action’\, apart from our new member\, Erika Notman\, who has a part in both plays! DESCRIPTION:Why not pop over to Birstall on Friday 23rd or Saturday 24th November to see the ‘Tree Festival’ at Birstall Methodist Church on Wanlip Lane (LE4 4JS).\nAdmission is free but there will be jars in which to pop donations for the Birstall Cancer Awareness Group (B.A.G.S.).\nBesides many Christmas Trees\, there will be unusual trees\, contemporary trees\, quirky trees and others all created by the imaginative minds of some Birstall people. Many groups\, Individuals\, and businesses have all created this ‘forest of trees’.\nIt is expected that there will be over 50 trees on display.\nIn addition\, there will be a whole variety of stalls\, including the now famous Christmas Hampers and Gift Baskets\, all so beautifully created. They make lovely Christmas presents. Other stalls will include cakes & pastries\, preserves and Christmas decorations.\nThe opening hours for the Festival are from 10.00am to 6.00pm on Friday 23rd and from 10.00am to 2.00pm on Saturday 24th November. \nThe tree display and refreshments will be open fully throughout. Cakes\, drinks and light lunches will be available in the Coffee Shop.\nFrom 2.00pm Friday (and throughout on Saturday) there will be crafts and Table Top Sales selling a wide variety of gifts cards & novelties.\nOn Friday only hot dogs and pancakes will be on sale from 3.00pm.
