Alan Morley Award

In June Wreake Valley Rotary Club were delighted to present Queniborough resident, Jennie Angell with their annual “Alan Morley Award”.  The award is presented to someone who has served the local community conspicuously and what a worthy recipient she is.
Jennie has been associated with the Scout Association for over 50 years, working with Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Venture Scouts, latterley at East Goscote. She is currently part time warden of the Scouts Oaks in Charnwood campsite.
In addition Jennie has spent over 15 years involved with Age Concern Syston, where she is Co Chair and a Trustee.
This is the twentieth year the award has been made in memory of Alan Morley, a late member of the Rotary club.
