Jo Cox’s Great Get Together

On Saturday 22nd June, Toni Davis of Rood Health held a rounders and cake afternoon at Syston Rugby Club for the third year. Fifteen people took part in a friendly game of rounders with two teams one captained by Rob and the other by Stewart. The teams were made of people aged from three to 78 years.
Cakes were made and donations given to raise funds for The Jo Cox Foundation and formed part of the 6500 events taking place across the UK.
Toni asked to thank everyone who contributed towards the day, and said everyone who attended thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
