New Home for Syston Model Railway Society

Syston Model Railway Society has a new home!
We are now based at the Earl of Stamford in Birstall.
At the moment we are currently organizing our clubroom and are ready to accept new members.
We meet generally on Monday evenings from around 7pm although this may vary on Bank Holidays.
The club has a number of layouts, either ready to run or under construction. We are hoping to have an Open Day early next year to allow local people to see what we do.
Each year, in February, we hold an exhibition at the Sileby Community Centre when we invite members of other similar clubs to bring their layouts.
We also invite specialist traders to come and sell modelling bits and bobs. Each year we donate a sum of money to a nominated charity and to date we have given approximately £3000 to a variety of organisations.
