Syston Model Railway Society – Homeless Again

Syston Model Railway Society has been in existence for 40 years this year. Earlier this year the club had to leave its premises of 30 years due to electrical problems. They moved to the Earl of Stamford, Birstall.
Now, due to a change of ownership, the club is again searching for new premises. The club requires about 1200 square metres floor space with water and electricity. There would not be any problem sharing toilets. Although it would not be used 24/7, access to the premises may be required at other times and so it would require a single user agreement.
The members would like to thank the landlord of the Earl of Stamford for his help over the last few months.
If you can help in any way, please contact Chris on 0116 260 5760 or email eglibrary@mail.com.
Syston Model Railway will still be holding its Silver Anniversary Model Railway Show at Sileby Community Centre, High Street, Sileby on February 15/16th 2020. There will be a number of layouts in various gauges as well as the usual specialist traders. Refreshments will be available. Admission is £4 per adult and £3:50 per unaccompanied child. Accompanied children go free.
