A new business that started in January 2020 has had to change its operation to survive the lock down.
The 5000-1 Coffee was named in celebration of the famous local bet on Leicester City Football Club winning the League in 2016.
They are usually a drive through venue, as shown in the picture here
with owner Rupert Carroll beside the sign, but due to the current situation the have changed to a subscription service and will be delivering coffee across Leicestershire. 50p from every bag sold is helping out local charities. The first chosen charity for May is Charity Link
You can make a one off purchase from the website or customers can call 0116 298 8724 to set up a subscription. With each purchase 50p from every bag goes to charity. They have two coffees to chose from at the moment. Both are in stock from beginning of May. Customers ordering will get the coffee delivered to their door.
