Go Wild this Summer!

This August, Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust in partnership with Leicester City Council bring you weekly Go Wild this Summer downloadable activity packs crammed full of nature exploring ideas.

Aimed at 2 – 12 year olds in Leicester City, the free packs include wildlife exploring activities, nature inspired crafts, wildlife spotter sheets and lots more to get you and your family outdoors in your garden, Local City Park or green space.

Each week there is a different theme: Become a Wildlife Explorer, Mini-Beasts, Nature’s Colours, and Terrific Trees. You can download then print at home or use on a mobile device and any additional activity resources needed are low-cost, natural or recycled items.

Rachel Ibbotson, Education Officer at Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust said, “Many people will have been spending time outside in their Local Parks during lockdown. We hope this August families will discover more about nature close to home, right here in Leicester, with our new Go Wild activity packs.”
