When You Wish Upon a Star are delighted that Butler Reynolds Ltd, have chosen them as the lucky charity to receive the proceeds from their Grand Raffle of a Bobcat E10z excavator (market value of £15,000) which they are donating as the main prize. They are hoping to raise £20,000 for the charity who due to Covid-19 have over 130 Wishes on hold for children living with a life threatening illness.

Butler Reynolds have over 40 years of experience in machinery sales and have two depots covering the East and West Midlands. They are the largest dealer for Bobcat equipment in the UK. In addition they are main dealers for Ausa dumpers and Dynapac rollers, along with an extensive range of quality used mini excavators, rollers, skid steers and telehandlers.

Alexa Wigfield, Regional Fundraiser at When You Wish Upon a Star said ‘It was lovely to receive the telephone call from Nigel Long and Heather Tormey the Directors at Butler Reynolds with this amazing news, they recognise that 2020 was such a difficult year for lots of families, they felt it was time to support a charity that brings a little happiness to so many children. To receive a donation of this size will help us to continue granting magical Wishes. All children have Wishes but for these children and their families that Wish is so precious. Each Wish brings with it the opportunity to look forward to something very special, to forget about their often painful treatments and to simply be a child for the day, creating special treasured memories.
