AGE CONCERN SYSTON

We are delighted to have received a card from the Lord-Lieutenant of Leicestershire, Mike Kapur OBE thanking Age Concern Syston for the work we have done throughout the pandemic to support our local community. The photo is Elaine and Yvonne who work mainly in the office but thanks must also include the trustees and all the wonderful volunteers who have helped throughout the last year. Well done and thank you to you all!

We are still working hard delivering prescriptions and shopping, telephone befriending service, advice and guidance in all manner of things as well as our free monthly magazine full of interesting articles and puzzles. We are looking forward to opening up our usual services and welcoming you to coffee mornings, day trips, day care groups and respite care in the very near future. If you would benefit from any of these services or would like support venturing out for the first time now restrictions are being lifted please give us a call.
