Syston Knitting Bankxy by Katie Canham
Yet again Syston’s Knitting Bankxy has surprised us with a beautiful decoration of a bench outside the Methodist Church. Not only is this piece delightful to look at, but also Bankxy has used the knitting to raise awareness of how vital bees are to the world. Along with the creation, is a box placed on the bench containing bags of lavender and lavender seeds. What a way to brighten a rainy day and spread awareness to the importance of bees. Hopefully many people were able to pick up a bag of lavender on their travels. Remember, plant some seeds to save the bees!
